A letter from incoming President Terry McEvoy about the 2016 Annual General Meeting to be held on 16th November at the club.

G’day all,

On the 16th of November at 7.30 pm, the AOCFC meets for our Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The AGM will be conducted as per the rules of The Aquinas Old Collegians Football club, Statement of Purpose

I would encourage all players, members and supporters to please attend this meeting as we prepare the plan for the 2017 season and beyond.

The committee for 2017 is not only responsible for the financial and operational management of our club, it will be our role to provide the coaching and playing group with every opportunity to ensure success.

The appointment of Ash Naulty as senior coach has created a great deal excitement and optimism amongst the playing group and on social media.

Ash has already been working hard recruiting players and support staff to ensure that we “hit the ground running” when pre-season commences.

We have also had commitment from Ox Glennie and our under 19 team to stick together and continue the incredible development of these young men.

There is a level of commitment and excitement across our club that we need to embrace and capitalise on to ensure we reach our full potential.

If you’d like to be involved in any capacity, please join us on the 16th November at the AGM.

As a committee, we need people who are strong and committed to our vision and prepared to work as a team to enable our club to fulfil expectations. If you have any ideas or would like to discuss committee roles, please call me on 0424187861

I would encourage everyone, players, supporters, young, old, men and women to please consider joining us and be part of the rise of our club.

Be part of the team that will develop the standards and set the process in place to enable our club to head back towards the premier grades of the VAFA

I recognise, understand and respect that some people feel they have given as much as they can and have decided to move on. I thank you for your contribution to our club and wish you well in the future.

Keep your eye on us…. You may change your mind.

The door is always open at Aquinas.

I am sure many people will say they have heard this all before….. that’s ok.

You make a choice……..watch from a distance …… or get on board and make a difference.

Terry McEvoy
