After the Bye last week, both sides were keen to get back out on the park, particularly with a large crowd for both teams.
An 8 point loss in arctic conditions put the freeze on the reserves 1 game winning streak.
The boys went down 5.11 41 to 7.7 49. Nick Spencer kicking 3 on return and looking like he enjoyed Europe.

Great day at the club yesterday, well done to all involved in getting the Past Players & Supporters luncheon together.
Following on from the success of last years gathering, yesterday was a great opportunity to reconnect with so many past associates of the club ranging from many different eras!
Looking forward to next years luncheon which will feature the 20 year reunion of the 1996 Senior/Reserves premiership double.
The club was saddened by the passing on Sunday of our foundation President, Barry Cuskelly.
Barry served as President from 1981-83 and was a tireless worker in leading and getting the club up and running. This huge task was accomplished in a mere 2-3 months!

We travelled out to JT Packer Park in Carnegie to play Glen Eira who were thus far winless in season 2015. After a terrific opening game and win in Round 2 against UHS-VU the club was looking forward to recently promoted D4 premiers West Brunswick at home. The game didn’t exactly start as planned with the Magpies racing out of the blocks and controlling much of the first quarter.
