Our practice matches for season 2017 have been confirmed
All games will be played at Bloods Stadium.
Intra club Friday 17th March 6pm
The intra club is on the same night as the life members dinner. It is a fantastic opportunity for the life members to get back down to the club before they head off to their dinner. There will be dinner and drinks in the club rooms afterwards for all players before we head out on the town to celebrate St Patricks Day.
Whitefriars Saturday 25th March
We are playing Whitefriars in the U19s, Reserves and Seniors with the U19s kicking off at 10am. The senior game will be held at around 2pm with both clubs agreeing to contest the Wilkinson-Striker Cup which Aquinas has held since 2010. There is sure to be a big crowd in attendance from both clubs and more information will be forthcoming. A massive challenge for The Bloods as we play a side that is currently 3 divisions higher than us in the VAFA.
Seville Saturday 1st April
One week before Round 1 we play Seville in our final hit out of the preseason. Seville play in the AFL Yarra Ranges competition so it will be an interesting match up. It will be our last chance to work on the new structures and game plan that Senior Coach Ash Naulty has implemented.
Round 1 Vs Mt Lilydale at Bloods Stadium
A reminder that all three sides are playing are at home in Round 1 in an old fashioned triple header. There will be a huge crowd in attendance as we seek to start season 2017 in a positive way. Matt Darvidis will be providing musical entertainment in the rooms after the game.
