After a terrific opening game and win in Round 2 against UHS-VU the club was looking forward to recently promoted D4 premiers West Brunswick at home. The game didn’t exactly start as planned with the Magpies racing out of the blocks and controlling much of the first quarter. Round 2 Match Report

After a bye in Round 1 and a replacement intra club game we were more than ready for Round 1 against UHS-VU at Brens Oval. Two more training sessions of working on our structures meant the only danger coming into the game was an opponent who already had a game under their belt against genuine opposition.…

Damian Naismith Appointed Reserves Coach for Season 2015

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Damian Naismith as coach or our reserve team for 2015.
Damian’s senior playing career was with Whitefriars Old Collegians Football Club. He commenced playing with Whitefriars under nineteen team in 1992. In that year he was selected in the VAFA’s under nineteen State representative side. He then progressed to playing senior level football with Whitefriars, who at the time were playing in Division B of the VAFA competition. He retired after playing …
