Congratulations to this years Best & Fairest Winners
Seniors – Anthony Mattioli
Anthony is a product of our 2017 U19 team and has slotted straight into the Senior team. An absolute bull in the midfield he played under duress for much of the year and still dominated the clearances. Along with James Wright (3rd) the future is bright when it comes to midfielders at the Bloods.
Reserves – Damien Lord
Lordy had a fantastic year across half back, providing a lot of intercept marks and drove us forward with his long switch kicking. He backs up after winning the best finals player award in last years Reserves premiership side.
Womens – Sophie Matthys
Sophie played her first year of football and was superb from the start. A highly skilled left footer, she was always a good option on the wing or in the guts. Her evasive skills enabled her to continually pump the ball into the forward line.
U19s – Tyson Noyes
Neighbours was simply brilliant this season. A late start to the year and a further 2 games in the Seniors didn’t stop the little master. Playing just 14 games he also managed to win the competition medal by a remarkable 7 votes.
Well done to all winners.
