It is with deep sadness that the club has been informed of the passing of Jane Barnes yesterday evening after a long and brave battle with illness. Jane was a fantastic and tireless supporter of the club during the tenure of her father Russell as Senior Coach during the years 2014-16. Even after falling ill she would often be sighted in the grandstand at Aquinas. All of the players during that period had a deep affection for Jane, her personality and her infectious smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with Russell, Jude and the entire Barnes family at this difficult time.
